What we collect
When you sign up we store your email, a hashed password, and any name you provide. While you use Resumedo we store the resumes, cover letters, photos and profile information you create. We also keep your AI usage counter so we can enforce plan limits.
How we use it
To run the service, send you transactional emails (verification, password reset), bill your subscription, and generate AI suggestions when you ask for them. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We set an authentication cookie when you sign in, an unlock cookie when you enter a password-protected profile, and a small language preference cookie. We also use localStorage for your theme and language choices. No third-party tracking cookies.
Third-party services
We use Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI generations, and Google Workspace SMTP for outbound emails. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function (e.g., Stripe receives card details; we never see them).
Data retention and your rights
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can request export or deletion at any time from the Billing page or by emailing us. Once an account is deleted, all associated resumes, photos and tokens are removed within 30 days.
